Riding Package Options/Cost:  Cost Per Scout (up to 8-10 Scouts) Maximum # of scouts will depend on age, and package option.

• Package #1 ($95/scout) – Riding time per scout 20 min
• Package #2 ($110/scout) – Riding time per scout 30 min

These packages teach the very basic of horseback riding.  Horseback Riding badge will need additional riding lessons to achieve goals that require more skills and practice. To book this let us know # of scouts will participate so we can give you a quote.  (Riders must be at least 7 yrs. old)

For larger groups or the 1 1/2-day Package option ask us for pricing.

Horses Sense Package: (Non-Riding Program) Minimum 12 scouts or fee for 12 if less than 12- ($/scout or min cost) Approximate Time: 1 ½ hour
First Hour:

• Ground Teaching-with learning material
• Horse Training Demo
• Grooming/Caring horses

Last 20-30 min (Scouts/Chaperones welcome stay have lunch/snack enjoy country)

Horseback Riding Packages:  Minimum 8 scouts for Riding Packages (Less 8 cost of the minimum)

Approximate time: 1 ½-2 hours Scouts paired up in groups, those not riding will participate barn & other activities.

• Riding- Basic teaching (mounting, walking, stop, change direction, and fun horseback game in our riding ring)
• Ground teaching-with learning material
• Grooming/Caring horses after riding
• Scouts 5-7yr of age please inquire, cost & activity may vary

• Safety, proper handling with the horses, haltering, safety tying
• Tacking/untacking, learn parts of the saddle.
• Basic horse care- grooming, hoof care, feeding, basic first aid.
• Basic & proper riding skills, safety, balance, softness
• Basic horsemanship, riding, balance, health & care when riding

Some teaching/activities vary by size of group and age.

We offer all this in the basic sleepover riding package! (Minimum of 8 Scouts)

• Horseback Riding (1- 1 ½ hours shared horse rides) Riding for scouts only
• Learn basic care of horses, grooming & tack, barn chore.
• Scouts can help feed horses!
• We provide Pizza for dinner.
• Movie & popcorn in the evening. (Option to watch horse movie)
• Provide doughnuts/coffee in the morning.
• Bunkhouse – A/C or heat (Or option to bring your tents and campout)
