Activities Included:

• Daily individualize riding lessons.
• How to tack/groom their horse
• Daily Barn lesson that teaches basics of horse care
• Snack Breaks
• Wash & Care for Horses
• Horse educational or horse movie

Parent(s) will need to provide snacks.

The mornings are spent with the horses learning to tack/groom, horseback riding, and ground lessons about horses. They learn many aspects of horsemanship and participate in caring for the horses, including helping with bathing the horses too.

Riders will split up into groups according to their level of riding and be matched with the horses by skill level.

Throughout the week riders will learn how to ride if they have never ridden before or riders with some experience will excel in their horsemanship skills. Some of what may be included are trail rides, fun horseback games, and with the 6 Day Program a chance to ride bare-back!

Our Ranch Director and Instructors work together to review progress made by each student to decide when a student is ready to advance to the next level.

We work to keep students of similar ages and skill levels together, allowing them to build friendships and to help each other along the way, while also matching each rider with a horse that will help them grow in both skill and confidence.
