Youth Group lessons:
- Saturday (2 Sat/morning/month)
- Friday (1-2 evening/month) - summer mornings
- Summer schedule may vary some (weekday mornings too)
- Semi-private occasionally during weekday mornings 1-4 times per month depending on availability.
- Home-school youth (weekday morning lesson available.
Students that are enrolled monthly program:
- Lesson Reminder will be sent by email the day before student lessons.
- Students taking 1-2 lessons/month may need to confirm dates by email.
- Adults or Youth – are scheduled in designated classes.
- Dates are posted on the Student Lesson Page.
- Lesson dates will be scheduled 2-4 months in advance- updated on Student Schedule site.

Yes, the enrollment is year- round.
Beginner-Intermediate level is 4 month enrollment with the option to continue year-round.
Year-Round: Need to take a month break from lesson: (allow this once/year) - see cancellation policy.
M&M Ranch will post if lessons must be canceled, or ranch is taking time off.
Yes! Auto-pay is by 1st of the month.

Lesson Policy & Parent Responsibilities
Email reminders will be sent the day before with the lesson and arrival time.
Here are typical times.
- Beginner-semi-private (be ready 5-10 min prior lesson)
- Beg-Intermediate Group lessons- most students arrive 15 min prior to the lesson to help prepare your horse.
- Students who are new to JC program check with us for the times.
- Typical Schedule Saturday- 8:00 a.m-12-12:30 p.m
Cancellation or No-Show Policy:
- Please notify us by email 48 hours before needing to cancel or lesson will be forfeited
- For late cancellation: A minimum of 3 hours’ notice is required for instructors to plan accordingly with preparations of horses. Any cancellation or no show with less than 3 hours noticed will result in a charge of $25 in the next billing. This includes no show for barn lessons during inclement weather.
- There is no credit applied to next month if lessons are missed and cannot be deducted from the following monthly riding fee. (There are no refunds for missed or being late for lessons.)
- It is M&M Ranch’s goal to start on time, if a student arrives late for lesson, then may shorten their lesson time.
One make-up lesson per 12 lessons allowed.

- Email M&M Ranch 48 hours is required to be eligible for a make-up lesson.
- It is M&M Ranch’s goal to start on time, if student arrives late for lesson, then may shorten their lesson time.
- Make up lessons must be scheduled within 30 days of missed lesson.
- Remember that even if student missed a lesson, your instructor was here.
- It is the student’s or Parent's responsibility to reschedule missed lessons. Please email us to schedule make-up.
- If M&M Ranch determines that a lesson will need to be rescheduled, then we will schedule a make-up day.

It's responsibility of you to check the schedule each month posted on Student or Adult Page.
We will do best we can post the date(s) 2-3 months in advanced.
Students who are enrolled in the monthly lesson program are expected to be available. We ask that you schedule as much you are able, your personal items around the schedule.
- It is the parents' responsibility to check the schedule on the Student Youth Page. Your responsibility to put these date(s) in your schedule.
- Need to check on the site which date(s) student is scheduled for.
- Lesson current and pending dates are posted 2-3 months ahead of time. Updates are made each month. You are responsible for checking these dates by putting them in your calendar.
We require at least 6 week noticed of date(s) not available for lessons or lesson will be forfeited.
We understand there may be unforeseen situations come up with lack of noticed. We will do best we can to work you for a make up lesson.
We ask you to let us know upcoming dates unavailable. (Ex: travel plans, school events, etc.) Please email us more than a month ahead, this will help with lesson plans.
We understand on rare occasions you may not be available due to travel, vacation etc. We will do best we can to work you for a makeup lesson.

Make up & Weather Policy
M&M Ranch will notify by email if lessons must be canceled.
Bad Weather Policy: (for Youth):
In inclement weather, we will have a fun barn lesson in the covered area. May include ground teaching with horse or horse care. We do require students to still attend; there will be no make-up lessons for missing a barn lesson.
Most of the time riding still included.
We rarely, if ever, cancel lessons due to weather.

- Riding attire: Long blue jeans, boots with heal
- Riding gloves, (riding gloves can order online horse tack shop)
- Head & ear warmers (head band, beanies)
- Warm socks, leggings under jeans etc.
- Recommend wearing layers especially in winter/fall season, jackets, light rain jacket.

Lesson Program - Need take a break?: (allow this once/year)
We understand there are times you may need to take a break. So, you don’t lose your spot we have a "hold for 30 days”.
Then you can resume back to lessons next month. (Auto pay will be due 1st of month start back up) - See Cancellation Policy for more details.
